The following items must be presented to an authorized passport clerk who will in turn adjudicate the application and place documentation inside an envelope which will be sealed and cannot be opened except by another passport clerk -otherwise rendering all documents void. Check with your local Post Office or county building to see if there is a clerk at that location. For applicants under 18 click here.

What needs to be inside your sealed envelope from the post office or county building (To find the your closest acceptance facility click here) :

• 1 original (no photocopies or faxes)completed DS-11 Application form completed online, printed on one sided pages and signed
• Certified or original copy of the applicants birth certificate or naturalization certificate
• 1 Passport Quality Photographs
• Expert Visa Letter of Authorization (If this is not included you passport will be flat mailed directly back to you and Expert Visa will not be able to check on the process of your application)
• Check to US. Department of State to pay for your expedited passport (see below for fees)
• Flight Itinerary (If passport is needed in less than 2 weeks)
• Check or Money order payable to U.S. Dept of State for $170.00. (If your check or money order is any other amount the application will be delayed in processing)

What should be outside your sealed envelope:

• Expert Visa Cover Sheet

We do not see the documents inside your sealed envelope so the cover sheet must be included outside the sealed envelope. Please write on the envelope or cover sheet your full name, Date of Birth, Departure Date and Contact Phone Number.

NOTE: All instructions on the passport application and attached pages must be read. If the U.S. Passport agency feels they have not been read they will not issue a passport.

Special Requirements:

Applicant will need to show a valid Photo I. D. when making application (such as driver's license) and take an oath.

Your sealed envelope must be submitted to the passport agency within 5 days of being sealed by the clerk at your local acceptance facility.

A Passport Card can be applied for at the same time as a first time passport. The appropriate box must be checked on the application form and additional fee must be paid with the application. At this time Expert Visa can only apply for passport cards in association with a first time passport application or Application for passport by mail. If you would like just a passport card you will have to mail your application to the address on the application form you are completing.

$170.00 +25.00(execution fee) Processing three weeks and under, Expert Visa is only allowed by the U.S. Passport Agency to submit expedited passport applications, payment for the passport must be made at the time of the personal appearance or the application will go into suspense until the application can be paid. For applicants not wishing to pay the expedite fee they may have the passport clerk at their post office forward their documents to the passport agency. For passport cards see below.

Non-expedited passports are $110.00 plus $25.00 (execution fee). Expert Visa is not allowed to submit non-expedited applications. If you pay the non-expedited rate your application must be sent directly to the passport agency by the passport clerk. If a non-expedited application is submitted through Expert Visa applicants will be charged the additional $60.00 Government expedite fee. (New fee starting July 13 $110.00)

Passport Card Fees:$30.00 + $25.00 execution fee. (Must be applied for with passport application) Allow 3 weeks or longer for passport cards to be processed.

Expert Visa Services, Inc. Fees: (Charged in addition to the U.S. passport Agency's fees)

Processing over 5 working days: $45.00
Processing 5 working days and under: $75.00 (Available only if proof of travel shows a need for the passport in 5 or less working days.)

The U.S. passport agency determines all passport processing times and bases the processing time on the proof of travel provided. In most cases we will be able to meet the dates a traveler wants or needs a passport but final decision lies with the U.S. passport agency.
U.S. Government fees and return charges are not included in Expert Visa Services fees
