Requirements:

  • Submit your valid signed U.S. passport
  • Government authorization or approval document to enter Libya (usually supplied by a Libyan tour operator)
  • An official Arabic Translation performed by the Arab Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC, of your passport vital pages is required.
  • Copy of round trip ticket or travel itinerary.

Requirements:
The Libyan visa is application is a two step process. First your passports application will be taken to the Arab Chamber of Commerce to obtain a translation of your passports vital pages (allow 2 working days.) Second the application will be taken to the Libyan consulate to process the visa (allow at least 3 working days) The Libyan consulate is closed on Fridays, do not count Friday and a processing day.
