Company Letters
Company letters are from the U.S. based employer sending the applicant to the country for which the visa is needed. The letter should be on the companies letterhead addressed to the appropriate consulate. The letter should state the applicants name, position in the company, dates of the trip (or future trips if asking for multiple entries), contact name and address in the country for which the visa is needed, the purpose of the trip to the country for which the visa is needed, and a statement that the company will be financially responsible for the applicant while in the country for which the visa is needed. The Letter needs to be signed by a manager in the company. The letters must be original as consulates do not accept fax or photocopied letters.
Note: Each consulate has its own requirements for what information is contained in a company letter. What is stated above is the guideline for the basics of what the consulate wants. In most cases if additional information is required for a company letter it will be listed with the requirements for the visa. If the listed requirements for the letter are left out it can create delays in processing that are out of our control.
